I know it's not the same for everyone but I wanted a Warlord, Atlas not on sale. I wanted an Onyx, Centurion not on sale. I wanted a Scattershot, Shadow Hawk not on sale... The only thing I could buy was a nerfed Scaleshot. To me this sale felt like it's poking fun at me :/
I was wondering the same thing. Maybe these are the mechs that are most used during the comp matches? I spent a bunch of MC on Camo Patterns and colors, but would’ve loved to buy more patterns for my Timby collection.

I would be interested in MWO2, as long as everything I have from MWO can transfer over. I'll keep buying more legends.
Edit; How do you have all the mechs!? I'm still collecting battlemechs, still so many variants to get! Just the IS Battlemechs. I need so many C-Bills!!
Other than the Legends, I don't buy mech packs anymore, or at least I haven't since the Resistance Packs came out.
I would not be interested in transferring over my MWO mechs and for very good reason. Russ has already said "what would we sell, how would we make money?" before. MWO2 IF it happens is already stated to be different from MWO, for example to move away from single mechpack sales.
I want a new pvp MW game more than anything and would NOT want its commercial success to be determined by my mechbay in a 10 year old game. That's a sunk cost fallacy and I would not want that to impact the potential future of MWO2.

I agree, it'd probably be more lenient to the less-experienced teams to extend the sale so they don't have to know everything they need up front.

A few extra weeks would definitely help increase the engagement of newer teams.
For example, it could keep people playing comp queue longer, which would be really nice.
It's great that they started the sale at the same time as comp queue. However, I underestimated how hard it is to make adjustments in just two weeks. In retrospect starting it a couple weeks after the start of comp queue gives new teams more time to decide what mechs they need to fill out their decks with.
