Checked my Internet connection/speed 120 down and 20 up but I am still getting shot thru objects/cover... I have consistently low pings on the north america servers but still am getting damaged behind buildings, mountains etc. Damage is also showing up on my rear armor when getting hit on the front. I run medium mechs mostly so no arms/torsos sticking out etc. I am of the opinion that to continue is just a waste of time Any suggestions before I uninstal and move onto something else?

What are your graphics settings? Things like object detail and environment if set too low can screw with how the textures are placed so that what you think is a solid wall or object actually isn't. This particularly effects some ridgelines and corners.

HSR takes more than your ping into account, it takes everyone's ping into account (with an upper bound of course). That means it isn't just your ping that matters, it is others as well. This is a phenomenon that we see with Counterstrike's sub-tick system as well, which works similar to HSR in this game.

Quick note: If your upper torso is facing the enemy while your lower torso is twisted so you are trying to run away, you can get shot in the "***" part of the mech which translates to back torso damage.
