Getting Mw5 Clans Drm-Freeish?

I'm super disappointed that MW5 Clans won't be selling on GOG. Which of the other platforms offer a DRM-freeish experience? My main concern is being able to play the game without an internet connection.

This has never been a problem with the other standalone MechWarrior games for me, and I've played them all since MechWarrior 2 came out.

Steam definitely has offline options as long as you set it before you lose your internet connection.
