I have not noticed any of these problems yet, but I am glad they are fixed. The main concern I have about the game, though, is replayability. I did play through MW1, MW2 and Ghost Bear's Legacy a few times though, but back then there were not as many options for MECH games. At some point, I would like to see PGI do a MW5 Mercs 2 and upgrade Mercs with Unreal 5, advance the timeline so the mercs are fighting with the Clans on the front line and give it the cinematic treatment.

Given how quickly this was pushed out I'm going to assume this was already finished work that didn't make it to the already distributed game files for launch day. It's common. As to mwo sorry its maintenance mode other than ports of mechs from mw5 or balance from Cauldron and maybe a new map once in a while. Mwo2 is supposedly on the horizon after they finalize mw5 clans but its going to be a different pvp game than mwo. Rumors are smaller teams but more objective type of play like a pvp mw5. But thats just the barest of rumors.

One minor complaint though. When certain characters are piloting their Mechs, please change their background so they are in a cockpit with their neural helmets and not just standing in the situation room of the warship still.

Loaded it last night and started game. Noticed that using mouse was random trying to select buttons on screen. this translated to the commands in game. Got the patch today before i could even start, so tried twice. still the random mouse commands in the HUD. this makes it more difficult to get through the damn training missions. trying to get the right command while it randomly doesnt work and get killed. I also updated my Geforce 1660 super, so no different in mouse HUD performance. DId notice that cinematic the summoner would disappear. Once in mission came back. Had no issue before patch.

Dunno if anyone has mentioned it yet but custom keybinds arent saving on exit of the game. When you load it back up then theyve all gone back to default.

Uploaded game to my Geforce RTX equipped laptop. Commands and menu work as advertised. Still scratching my head on my main PC setup.

BTW, where is the extra content in the collectors edition? Soundtrack, artwork, etc?

Just finished playing with some friends on the newest patch for almost 6 hours straight! The game ran way WAY better than before, in fact i actually didn't even think about the performance or frames at all except for some dropship dust particles making me lag, which is a good thing! We were playing crossplay across Steam, Xbox on PC, and Xbox series X.
The game has been really fun and a great experience. I think my only complaint so far is the mechlab being pretty slow to build in, and things are listed in ways that make it take longer to identify something than is needed. For example, i was looking for SSRM2's to throw on a mech and thought for some reason they weren't in the game or weren't available to pick up, but they were just on the upper row of the item selection row. I think it'd be a lot more organized if things were in an organized vertical list like in MWO or MW5M, rather than being huge horizontal squares. Selecting individual omnipods is also more complicated than it should be, given that my brother didn't even know it was possible to do, and i didn't notice until a few hours in.
As of now, we don't see any way to change which character the other players in the lobby can play as, which means they're stuck with whoever they're auto assigned upon joining my lobby. On top of this, if someone disconnects and loads back in, they're given a different character to control, which means they can't use the mech they were planning to use. The players who join the leaders lobby are also unable to change mechs out with any of the AI like the leader is able to, which would be nice to be able to do. On top of this, if a player is killed, they can't take control of any of the remaining AI players like the lobby leader is able to do when their mech is destroyed, this means when someones mech falls, they just have to watch everyone else have fun when there's a perfectly good AI mech that could be controlled by them, which is kind of sad ;-;
There is also no Ebon Jaguar and that makes me sadder than anything else Posted Image
Despite my grievances, the game has been amazing and super fun. I'm loving the engagements and combat scenarios so far. The first touchdown on Turtle bay was a really fun experience and it was super cool to see the enemy forces completely underestimate our mechs superior range to theirs. This is as far as we've gotten so far and I'm very excited to try more :3

edit: forgot to mention, there's this bug that's driving me nuts, every time i've closed the game, my control mappings reset to default and i have to set them again, on top of that, this patch actually seems to have hidden the [X] button that clears a button mapping for the first of the two button map possibilities. This means that instead of completely unassigning "target friendly" so i could use it for "command wheel", i had to instead tell "target friendly" to use a button on my keyboard i wasn't using so that the Q key could be used for command wheel. I'm sure that's just a bug with this patch, as it was there just yesterday

Please revert whatever you did to the keyboard binding options. Let me setup my own keybinds. I don't use the radial menu.

PS: Has someone figured out a workaround for the keybinding problem? Is there a file you can edit to set the keybinds yourself?

I bought the Digital Collectors pack on EGS, but my game splash screen does not give me the option to see digital extras. Do I need to do something else?

For the German localization: "Drücke P um den mech zu verstärken" makes no sense and is everything but the correct translation of "power up". Better would be "Drücke P um Mech zu aktivieren"

There seems to be an issue with the command wheel when commanding one of your Star to use a repair bay where you can not clear the wheel off the screen unless you go into Scan mode and then exit.

I have the same issue. Bought the Collectors Edition on EGS, yet the game starts with a regular start menu, with no options to access digital content. Any ideas PGI? Matt? Daeron?
