I've been enjoying the game a lot but there are some problems that I'm sure will be ironed out. Here is some feedback from what I have seen so far. I have been playing on pc gamepass.

The most frustrating issue that I've been having is every time I start the game up no matter if it crashed or I saved and close the game properly, my custom key binds are either fully reset or partially reset. I have tried setting them in the main menu before launching my save, in the save while in the ship, and while on mission. No matter where I set them the issue persists.

An unstuck feature would be nice, especially for your ai mechs. I have had ai get stuck in the ground unable to get out unless they have jump jets. Failed a mission once for going out of bounds because I switched to a mech in my star which had disappeared only to find that it had fallen out of the map. This is oncourse always going to be an issue in any new game with large maps, it would just be nice to have the tools to avoid frustration.

There is a bug in the barracks when selecting star member skills where the UI shifts as intended but if your mouse is the on far left edge of the button the curser rapidly switches between being on and off the button.

Having the ability to see star members skills in the mech bay would help a lot with selecting who has the best ability to pilot a specific mech.

It would be nice if in battlegrid you could use night vision, or at least if night vision is already turned on keep it on when leaving battlegrid.

It would be a good feature to be able to lock paint jobs on a specific mechs so that you can hit change all paint jobs without affecting them, and if you select set all on a paint job new mechs should come set to that paint job after purchase just to avoid repetitive tasks every time you purchase a new mechs. Not really necessary but would be convenient.

Battlegrid is awesome but it would be nice to have better indicators on the circular star member marks. I am more concerned with mech class and primary weapon type then a squad member number when quickly setting up battlegrid locations, for instance I generally want to put LRM mechs in the back and brawlers more toward the front quickly without having to spend the extra time hovering over each unit to see what they have or matching who's who with the information on the bottom of the screen. A good option would be a mech type icon and a color code for main weapon type or max rang. Alternatively there could be a tab function with extra mech info directly on markers. This may be a bit nitpicky but it would streamline the mental process leading to faster actions in the battlegrid to get back into the fight quicker.

Having orders based on your mech location would be a great addition for giving simple commands on the go especially for voice attack users. Being able to set the whole star or part of the star to either take lead, fall back or change formation where they match your speed and direction would allow you to quickly keep yourself in the back or center of the formation to allow time to set affective battlegrid locations at the beginning of a fight instead of being point and having to immediately maneuver when hit with the opening volley. The only solution for this with the current orders system is to either constantly give orders in the battlegrid or repeatedly set mechs to guard in front of you as you move.

If anyone has something to add go for it incase a dev happens to be looking for feedback, I'm sure I missed a lot.

I just finished the game and would have loved to see a new game+ where you at least get to keep the mech skills and research done. There clearly isn't enough time to unlock everything on the first playthrough, but with skills and research would have made trying different builds fun on another playthrough.

Now it's just "oh, I beat the game, back to MW5: Mercs I guess"

In the mech bay, you can "assign pilot" and it will show you all bonusses. It will even recommend pilots with a blue dot.

i think if you select "apply camo pattern to all", you can remove the checkmark on single mechs?

1. It is impossible to research everything during the play through. So you either need to be able to carry your research over through new games, or increase the amount of components, and speed, to be able to do it all.

2. You can't max out all of the pilot's skills through the game, so need to increase the amount of xp they get in the missions.

3. Mech xp is too low, as you can't max out the upgrades through a full playthrough, this is especially worse by the fact you have to spend a lot of that xp just to unlock the omni pods.

4. Instead of being stuck with a stock mech, that might have a bad stock loadout, and having to spend mech xp to unlock the omni pods. Instead just let us buy the pods with the Kerensky Bucks instead.

5. There needs to be some kind of combined game option, for after you have played and beaten both sides, and gotten both endings. So you can have all the missions, and cutscenes, and options available in one save, instead of having to have two saves. Also instead of having to re do upgrades, and achievements, and stuff .

6. Achievements should be permanent once you complete them, and carry over to new games, or other saves.

7. Need to have more mech, weapon, and omni pod options.

8. More Clan interactions. Having to do trials to increase your rank, or to get better things. Doing a Trial to get a Blood Name. Food is bad? Trial Of Grievance, to get better food when you win. better food would give your pilot's a skill boost. As well as more interactions between different Clans.

9. Character Customization for our main character. including the neon face tatts, that could boost the pilot's skills.

10. The ability to choose what skills the pilots have, or being able to choose other pilots with other skills.

11. Replaying missions in the sim pod is useless for grinding up xp, as you only get 40 per mech. This needs to be buffed up quite a bit. You also get no components for research from it. Even if you mark and claim some from the boxes you find by scanning.

12. I find it odd that you have no components to start researching things with at the start. You would think the Clan would have at least brought some with them. Giving you enough to start researching something immediately

13.Through the training / tutorial, and the Trial afterwards, you should be able to choose which of the 5 mechs you use, instead of sticking you in the crappy Summoner.

14. Game suffers from the throw away mech syndrome. Once you get access to the heavier weight classes, there is no reason to keep the lighter mechs around. It would be nice to have missions later on in the game, where you had to go back and use the lighter stuff. A tonnage limit, or a stealth mission or something.

15. Having to spend valuable research time and components on unlocking weapon types, instead of having them available freely, and putting the research to better use on other things.

16. I found the part of the storey where MIa is normal, and with long hair in one moment, then the very next time we see her, she's got a different hair style, and glowing face neon jarring. It would have been better if there was some sort of in-between cutscene, to smooth it over.

17. At least two of the pilots don't seem to have certain affinity options for mech class. it would be better if they had all the options like the other pilots.

18. The only hero mech available in the game is locked behind a pay wall.

19. NO way to reset or change the affinities after you select something.

20. The % health seems to be off. I can have a completely open red CT, where one good hit will kill me. But it will say I have 84% health still.
