I doubt we will see anything about Homeland Clans anytime soon. I do think, though, that there really needs to be a game that covers the time from the Exodus up to the founding of the Pentagon Worlds.
Oh, I did wish list it, though, by the way, in case we get some MWO reward for it.

Agreed. The timeline with early clan battlemechs up to the first primitive clan omnis is not explored enough. Clan golden age stuff is neat.

What I want to see in the next DLCs (in order of complexity):
- New Game + mode;
- more omnimech chassis (Firemoth, Ice Ferret, Huntsman, Ebon Jaguar...);
- Elementals!
- Full competitive support ("Trials of Grievance"?) with ladders, matchmaking and bloodnames as rewards;
- Clan battlemechs;
- Procedural missions;
- New storylines (for the other invading Clans).
Mod I want to see: recreation of MW2 in MW5C.
How cool would it be to play as elemental, riding your starmates omnimech (to not be stuck with 20kp/h or so)
Whishlisted.
Then i can try different approach/decisions on second playthrough.

This "DLC" is clearly content they had ready to go, but withheld to be able to soak more money from us.
It's the mech pack mentality. There are ~50 clan chassis in MWO, as soon as I saw that MW5C released with what, 16, that guess how the rest will show up.
Easy to call, "DLC" mech packs for content which should have been included. And now we have $20 for 'variants' ... just different hard points, not even new mechs. Sorry, this is a predictable scummy money grab to milk those who love the IP.

That Bane mech pack cost more here than the MW5 Clans + upcoming DLC will cost on Steam
At this point, PGI should just do an event queue 2 times a month and start making all of the MWO content available for purchase on Steam, not just the Legends. Regional pricing matters when the Ultimate edition mech pack costs $70.

Given the time period I would say it might remain unexplored for quite a while if ever. MW5 titles are very timeline and lore adherent. Just because a Woodsman technically exists in timeline doesn't mean it'll appear in game if it makes no sense. I would say for the time being the only clans we have on the table are the 7 that make it to Tukayyid (and maybe Hell's Horses) if we push up to the Civil War era. Of course, if we go down the Serpent route, others may make an appearance at the Great Refusal but potentially as opponents for the trials (e.g., Blood Spirit, Fire Mandrill). That's how the logic flows.
