Ever since the last patch that added the bane I have been experiencing issues with playing MWO it takes minutes after the game starts for me to get in and by time I get to play I am already dead.
Is there anything I can do about this?

Disregard I am a moron, I switched it to a new drive and it works fine now.

This thread should be moved to Workaround subforum. I believe he had moved the game to a different hard drive, since he said switched to a new drive, not installed a new driver. The game has to load its assets and having the game installed on an old and/or slow drive, it takes a longer to load said assets.
When one sees someone with a very low ping to the server the drop is on, and they are the last to show up, first thing that comes to mind is the player playing on a potato, or at least a slow or problematic drive.
