To put it simply:
Stupidly slow for what is supposed to be a second-line assault mech.
Ridiculously wide and weapon convergence is a mess.
Some of the quirks make absolutely no sense. Like an energy +1 HSL on a mech with only one energy hardpoint.
Overheats too easily because of the engine cap.
If anything gets too close, you're dead.
The special and hero variants both have skins that look little different from the standard variants.
I spent enough of my real money to buy two or three AAA tier games in an effort to support THIS GAME and got a bunch of mechs that I don't want to even play because they're so gimped.
I don't suppose PGI offers refunds on these things, cause I'd like my money back.
Even if they don't, I hope PGI at least has the decency to put my money towards MWO dev time and not towards MW5 expansions.

Pretty sure the energy hsl is so that you can fire a ppc and two gauss at the same time with no ghost heat.

Which was a stupid restriction to begin with. Instead of doing something useful about the meta sniper-assault builds that plagued the game for the past six months (like taking away range from gauss and PPCS or changing cooldowns) they just took the easy way out and made it a ghost heat penalty for firing two different classes of weapons, which did almost nothing to curb the stupidity.
But. that's what the tabletop warriors wanted I guess.
Doesn't change the fact that the mech is a waste of my money.

What exactly are you rambling about? There is so much wrong with this statement it's not even funny. What Gauss/PPC the past six months? Gauss/PPC were linked SEVEN years ago in 2017 and yes, that did kill Gauss/PPC builds.
Unrelated to the goofy statements, the HSL were targeted specifically for 2 HAG30s + cERPPC because 2 Gauss + cERPPC is hot garbage for an assault build. I mean HAG30s + cERPPC still isn't that great of use for a 100 tonner but yeah.

starting to question if i want to support this game in its final two years if this is the mechpack pricing model going forward.
