Yeah, not my best work. I was looking at fan and official art of Canopus mechs and tried to emulate a paint scheme that didn’t carry to well into MWO. It is what it is though, with new skins for legends every month I’ve had some bangers and some misses. I gotta polish up a bit more if I want to do those skin packs I’ve been mulling over!


In other news, I do hope to post a teaser/announcement of the new light mech in the next week or two before we slow down for the holidays.

1st, nice to know about the teaser.

2nd, how about skins for Clans Diamond Shark, Steel Viper, and Clan Nova Cat? Like we've been asking for since the release of the Clan packs.

There might be some ideas there.

Most of what I’ve been sketching are more variations for the main 4 invading clans. Ghost Bear, Jade Falcon, Wolf, and Smoke Jag skins representing different units/galaxies. Still unsure if they’ll ever leave my drafts and become actual skins, all depends on how 2025 shapes out!

I would love to see the different Galaxy skins from MW5 CLANS in MWO, but I guess you would have to show some love to the other Clans too (although we all know Smoke Jaguar is the best).

I am actually really impressed PGI has made the DLC free and are actually providing refunds. I think it always should have been free, but it wasn't, and people bought it. I never expected to see a total about face like this including refunds. PGI has really matured as a company.

Nerfing its ammo quirks is not nerfing its performance. You'll still see Scaleshots with 4SRM6+2SRM2s, except they can only do like 600 damage for their team at most instead of 1000 or something.
It's a stupid nerf for this reason, it doesn't address its performance if that's the goal, it just puts more limit on what they can do.
