The Viper-Prime(I) quirks are supposedly on MechDB 2.0 ... not sure if it's the final version of its quirks...
(it almost sound too good to be true!)

Viper Prime(I) has exactly the same set of quirks as the normal Viper Prime that you can buy for C-Bills.

The only difference between the two is the C-Bills bonus and the livery.

What, you never played the Viper-Prime? All those quirks don't really amount to a great mech I can assure you. There's a reason it's not a popular variant. And if you read my rambling on post#20 you could probably get some idea of why.
Really, it's more like if the Shadow Cat barely has weapon tonnage as one way to put it. Or the Raven-4X that is stuck with LMG+ERML+LRM builds and less quirks. Just test drive some builds on it straight from the shop if you really want to see it yourself too.

It makes me wonder if someone within PGI's Staff is still angry at the MWO Community after what happened earlier this year... On the other hand, thanks to "MW5: Clans" happening and taking resources, it could easily have blocked several MWO projects which were intended to be completed. Therefore we get the new "Luthien" Map to play on, along with that Viper "VPR-Prime(I)" Variant to enjoy, but only those. Add a small leap of thought, and one would have to then surmise there was basically no time left beyond those items for allowing a second Holiday Bonus 'Mech being made which everyone can enjoy. Not even a Blood Asp BAS-Prime(I) with similar Invasion Camo would then have time to happen, nor anything like a Kodiak KDK-2/KDK-3 Variant (or anything else that PGI's MWO Staff thought great to do) in some kind of Holiday Design /w "Santa Hat" Bolt-On added on top. It sucks, but I can totally see this happening, given what I've heard in the past.

EDIT :: That reminds me... I wish the "Santa Hat" Bolt-On with that WarHammer WHM-6R(H) Variant of last year's Holiday Bonus had been possible to re-color. Not everyone wants to run around with that item always being red on top. If they were able to make that Bolt-On be a color-changeable item, then it would be a plus for everyone's enjoyment.

These however are only my immediate guesses and extra little thoughts, so I could be completely wrong as to what landed us with only one Mech for this year... I hope someone in PGI's MWO Staff will be allowed to tell the MWO Community what reduced 2024's year-end Holiday Bonus like this?
