Yep, snubs and mags is strong. You can keep an SRM6 for extra alpha, or opt for the weight savings and go full arm weapons which helps with convergence.
Another option given the LAC ammo quirks is 5LAC5 (again all arms). You can also do variations with LPPC or 6LAC2.

I opted for Dual ER Large Lasers with the light machine guns. Loving it!!

No, this CTF-5MOC Cataphract is the personal BattleMech of the Magestrix Naomi Centrella. Of course, there are some differences because not all BattleTech equipment is available in MechWarrior Online.

Is the Cataphract good or is it just a 70t SRM6 ECM Griffin but with 2 extra snubs?

You can run XL on it and have a decently fast moving 70t heavy with stealth armor, JJs, and missile hardpoints on it.

Otherwise you're probably better off with something like the Grasshopper or uhh the JJ Warhammer I guess? Oh, or the ECM+JJ Thunderbolt though it does have less armor and you'd need to use the MASC which is certainly a higher skill floor even if it can get you better results through positioning.
