This feature is available exclusively for the Steam and Epic Games Store versions of MechWarrior 5: Clans.

STEAM

In the Steam Client, go to your steam library, right-click on the base game and Manage->Browse Local Files. anyone who has the Digital Collectors Content entitlement should have a "DigitalCollectors" folder in the directory the game is installed.

EPIC GAMES STORE

In the Epic Games Launcher from the library, right-click the game and go to "manage add-ons" toggle this:

Once it's installed, the quick way to get to the game install folder is to again right-click the game in the library, go to "manage", and click this:

I got even better question: WHEN IS THE PATCH RELEASE?!

Good move. It was a weird decision (or neccessity due to rights management?) to begin with to only have the game soundtrack available in an in-game jukebox where you can't get any use out of it. Looking forward to enjoying the soundtrack some more!

PGI has reduced its staff due to cost reasons. The MWO team has also lost people. We have to get used to longer waiting times...

Maybe the collectors edition would've gotten more sales if the additional content wasn't locked to the game! That's why I didn't buy it.

Also, no GoG release probably also hurt.

Some misteps were made in marketing and sales IMO.
