Hey all,

A friend sent me this and so I am curious... 1. Is this infact true? 2. How would this be different than an aim bot? Thanks.

mw5 mercs/clans has this feature. i dont think mwo does unless they added it quietly. honestly this looks ai generated.

As far as I know, there is no such feature in MWO. And when I see how players using joystick (or controler) struggle aiming, I'm almost thinking there should have one Posted Image
(like LordNothing said, it's on MW5 and the AI got confused)

It's basically a "soft" aimbot, but an official one.
It's a fairly usual feature on console shooters, solo and multiplayer, and on shooters with crossplatform lobbies.

Yeah, I didn't believe it at all, but I wanted to check.

Thanks for the responses.

thing is having a built in aimbot keeps people from using a 3rd party aimbot, and that way you can actually balance it out, say add in some tracking delay to make it fair. 3rd party aimbots are meant for cheating primarily and have cheat features. but there is utility in making things easier for gamepad users and people with disabilities.

Controller Aimbots tend to be infuriating to anyone who can hit consistently.. They tend to always default to center mass so aiming anywhere else is very hard or impossible.
