Is there a way to bank your premium time?

I saw a video of a player that has Premium Time banked and would like to be able to do this too as I do not play a whole lot and Premium Time runs whether you are playing or not, so it is a waste of money for me to buy. If I were able to bank that time and take out just an hour at a time, it would become useful!

Banked time comes with some mech packs and is as far as I know the only way to do it.

Good hunting,

You definitely cannot convert "active Premium Time" into "banked Premium Time", if that's what you're asking...

~Almost all mech packs give you "active Premium Time".
~All Legendary Mini-Battlepass give you "active Premium Time".

~Only an unknown few older mech packs give you "Banked Premium Time" that remains "Banked" until you "activate Premium Time".
(I know this, because I got multiple tranches of "Banked Premium Time", that I think is from the Civil War / Escalation mech packs. I currently still have "Banked Premium Time" that run into the triple digit number of days).

(But I've bought a lot of older mech packs, so even I'm not certain which ones give you the "Banked Premium Time").

I have 30 days of banked time that I either got with my Marauder II or Warhammer packs, can't remember which one. I haven't bought any premium time since I started playing but have a ton of it from doing events and holiday gift bag things! I do support the game by buying new mech packs and MC's.

I really wish they would implement a system where you could bank it. Like I said in the original post, I don't play for long hours at a time, so buying Premium Time is a waste of money for me as I am sure it is for lots of other players too. If you could bank your time and only use it when you wanted, that would make my buying it FAR more likely. You could take some out in hourly increments. Buying 7 days of Premium Time and using 7 - 14 hours of time in that week is a huge waste of money.

The Jan 2025 Free Mech Event is one of the easiest on record!

You can redeem it up to 14 days after Event ends, meaning early-March to redeem this 7-day Premium Time.

Sort of how you can activate Premium Time when you wish to! Posted Image

I'm not sure they care. Or if it's worth the bother.

Best way not to waste it though, is to go to your profile on the Website. Activate 30 days at a time. If you do in game, ITS ON. No turning it off.

Originally, PGI banked premium time, because that was the deal for the Founder's packs way back when. After a couple years, they stopped selling banked Premium time and it's always activated immediately. There were a lot of people who apparently kept their premium time banked, waiting for Community Warfare, and well, things changed. I am guessing that the real motivation for dropping banking it was a lot of support requests from people who wanted to stop it or reset it or something.

That said, if you redeem something on the webpage, be it a purchase or event prize, the time doesn't start ticking until it's redeemed in the game. So you can buy something when there's a sale but just don't log into the game until you have time to use it. It's not a full solution but may help.

buy legendaries and do not claim your pt until you need it. banks by weeks (two per) and doesnt expire. but you do have to activate it from the store page, not in game.

pgi hands out so much free premium time that i never really use it.

I'm one of those old players that has almost two years of banked premium time. I can't remember the last time I had to activate thirty days of it.
