its better to selectively turn off people you dont like than it is to just turn off everyone and deny yourself useful tactical data. its up there with the people who do refuse to press r just so they dont feed lerm boats in terms of **** moves. you dont have to use comms to talk to your team, the command wheel probibly covers 90% of use cases. best way to talk to the team is by shooting at the enemy and remind them what they ought to be doing.

Once you start to learn the AI's general movement tendencies having the comms filled with nonsense is completely unnecessary.

And there's a minimap if you don't want to even think ahead about it.

Either way, if you are frustrated with solo dropping into QP the best thing you can do is eliminate the most annoying part and take an approach that will very likely make the game far more enjoyable for you. Especially if one of your primary concerns is the makeup of the teams. Single player, random AI has by miles been the best solution I've found.
