Hi, old returning player here. I haven't played in about 6 or 7 years. I just started playing again and miss getting coordinated with other players. I lost all the team speak information I had sometime over the years.
I know there were some free to use ones out there.
I've convinced another old player to come back too, and maybe his sons will try it. We just started playing a tabletop battletech game, so they might be interested in trying MWO too.

I think most units have migrated to Discord to be honest. Go to the MWO Comp discord server here - https://discord.gg/rw69ujd8
You don't have to play comp or anything, but in the team and unit recruitment channel you should be able to find a number of unit servers. Most units are a mix of compies and casuals, so just figure out which one works for you.
If you haven't played in a few years there's also a resources and guides channel for you to browse through. Good luck.

Ok, thank you for the information. I didn't get it the first try, but it looks like it worked now.

That's great! These forums are kinda slow, but that's because most of the action is on various unit discords these days. There is a list of discords and other resources on the MWO Wiki here:
https://mwo.nav-alph...ional-resources
The MWO Comp discord is probably the best general resource, as BlueDevilspawn mentioned. I know at least one unit (CWM) still uses Teamspeak, but the vast majority are on discord.
