1 some decide streaks or srms are good and that works against the ones going straight line only because of lock on or flight time.
2 dacca works well but requires flight time and or lead time and if the terrain varies it nullifies the dakka round.
3 lasers work well but require recycle time and that can be alot even with standard pulse lasers.
4 my personal favorite that i have experimented with is x pulse lasers and it works well even with varying terrain though you still have to compensate with lead though keep in mind fire moth legs do barbeque quite well with x pulse lasers.

thats because people who shoot at lights are looking to take away their primary defense, its speed. that means its leg day. a light without a leg has a lifespan measured in seconds.

Yeah I know. But with many other lights it feels like the damage spreads more evenly. It's as if Firemoth leg hitboxes were half its body.

someone else had you locked as well then. i have been making it a habit to lock any mech that is moving very fast so i can help my teammates lock on time. since i prefer laser builds with either pulse or x pulse for secondary weapons, i try to make it dangerous to be approached.

AFAIK indirect locks don't affect duration.
