My experience being in a light mech is just punishing/Annoying on conquest
Psr will try to punish you
your own team will expect you to play the objective while they go 'pew pew'
and if you don't cap the reds will cap you out

There's a reason Comp is played exclusively on Conquest mode. It's the same reason Domination is the worst gametype in MWO and will never NOT be the worst gametype in MWO. 12v12 Blob fights suck giant donkey dongle. They're absolutely miserable, and the fact that nimdut assault 'Mech pilots keep pushing for them because that's what gives them their kiddy-safety-blanket sense of being all cuddled up and safe from the Big Scary Smol Robits drives me absolutely up the gorram wall.

any sense of strategy is removed when it's just people running around nascar style. There's only 1 way to play the game and it sucks.

i would ask them to remove the center capture point to see how player react but i would see issues for the heavier mechs and those that split up
also rebalance capture rates by weight class if possible (the heavier you are the faster you cap vs lighter mechs) and see how it goes

alright then what about the capture points powering down after x amount of time/ points gathered meaning the capture objective changes meaning a shifting of the battle
i don't really see it catering to them sure they got alot of everything but as you stated slow and cumbersome so the thinking behind this was which i didnt add which i should of
Lights can decap the fastest but can't capture/hold effectivly
Medium/Heavy are middle ground can cap/decap at some what equal speed
Assualts can Capture the fastest but decapping is slowest
So a light can take but an assualt can hold

Fatbro Jox can deal with there being one single game mode where lighter machines that can reposition, move, and respond fluidly to changing battle conditions actually have a place.
