i have most of the books from the second edition onwards and still have pride of place on my bookshelf with my btech novels and shadowrun. battletech does generate allot of updates and space becomes a problem with storage at times

Have 2nd ed. box set from 1986 (though the box looks like hell now), the 3rd ed. 1992 set with the crappy plastic Unseen, 4th ed. box set from 1996 with the thick cardboard counters. Also have most of the original expansion box sets: Citytech, Aerotech, Battleforce, and The Succession Wars Boardgame. Have Compendium, Compendium ROW, BMR, and 2006 ed. Total Warfare rules.
It's interesting to see which rules have been changed over time, like deliberate skidding slidetackle charges, Savannah Master swarm initiative being nerfed, the whole wink-wink-you-didn't-see-this LAM situation, etc.

In my collection which goes back to the late 80's I have BattleSpace, AeroTech, BattleTech (Of Course in several additions) CityTech, The Clans, The Succession Wars and Various Parts of the Ji'had.
