I'm very satisfied, but I can't upload any more because I'm lazy

One thing you might try doing is changing the color selections. I'm too lazy to upload, but I picked obsidian black for all 3 colors on top of the CGB Delta Galaxy and the Silverroot Keshik and the result is so menacing.

I’m a bit confused by some of your feedback. By purchasing this pack, you get all the skins on all clan mechs. Are you suggesting we fragment the pack more like how platinum mechs were done? Wouldn’t that just be milking the player for more money compared to this current pack format? Compare something like purchasing platinum packs to cover all clan mechs compared to this pack, the price difference is significant.

The Ghost Bear Delta skin is not based on the vagabond skin in any way, but I can see why some would come to that conclusion.

I am aware of what the mech camos on unit color compendium and camo specs look like, I frequently go there for inspiration. But, to be frank, sometimes the lore camos just look bad. If they do, I’m not afraid to touch them up or redesign them if they don’t meet the cut. The original Ghost Bear Delta Galaxy skin was one of those where I ended up throwing the idea out the window. I’d say this skin was actually more inspired by GB Kappa Galaxy than anything else, but I needed a Delta Galaxy skin as I was filling out the invasion roster for the Clans DLC. As for Clan Wolf Delta, it is just the Unit Color Compendium skin with softer shapes compared to the more canyon style shapes they have. So I’m confused on that one, am I supposed to look at that website? Jade Falcon Phi and Ice Hellion Zeta are also heavily based on Unit Color Compendium, so was it wrong to look at those too? I’m confused because it feels like the goalposts are shifting here.

As for the comment on Clans skins vs MWO skins, I’m the artist for both. A lot of these skins I hope to bring into Clans when applicable, just as I hope to bring some skins I made in Clans to MWO when I have the chance. If you have any concrete examples of quality difference between Clans and MWO skins, I’d love to see them. I’m really curious since both sets were made by me.

As for the Silveroot Kodiak, that was on my first draft. But the KDK-1(S) already exists from the Kodiak collectors pack and that has the OG Silveroot on it. I didn’t want to practically duplicate a mech for this pack.

I’d love to keep exploring galaxies for other clans. Hell’s Horses, Clan Coyote, Steel Viper, and Nova Cats are particular interests of mine that I would be eager to get down on paper. But this skins pack was an unsanctioned project which means I was working on it during my spare time between tasks. I’ve had this pack on the back burner since November and it’s pretty much been a labor of love to explore these ideas on all these mechs. As much as I would love to do a round 2, I’m not sure when I’ll find time again as I get more task loaded as we look to more future content. My hope was that positive reception to this pack would be enough for more time to spent on projects like this.

To help with the schemes and patterns go here: https://unitcolorcompendium.com/ The database is loaded with each and every paint scheme and pattern of Clans, etc.

Speaking as someone who sees the creative process with skins, he's very aware of the UCC. There have been skins that are faithful reproductions (within technical capability), reinterpretations, and net new creations.

The feedback seems to be that you two prefer lore specific/faithful reproductions and while there are a group that like that, the typical response to this skin pack seems to be widespread acclaim. So, while it's feedback, it's very unfair to call the pack "lazy and uncaring", full stop.

I already apologized for that comment and walked that back. I was completely ignorant in that regard. While I'm not a fan of CGB's Delta Galaxy, I read about CW's Delta Galaxy Scheme after that and saw the line, "Delta`s parade colors differ only by the exclusion of the black triangle pattern." So I take full responsibly in that as I was coming out of a place of lore faithfulness and ignorance. Despite that, I still do respect the concept and I see it as a smart package deal and I welcome the idea of seeing more clan galaxies.

To Tiy0s, I hope you can accept my apology, but honestly, I reacted to the fact, that some of the skins like Phi Halaxy are somewhat incorrect. True, I don't a thing about how to implement C++ etc., and other means to do whats necessary to make this game work. However, after playing the game for years long before MWO and on the board. I've come to expeect things to accurate. I was not trying to hurt feelings, or give cause to make anyone mad, or give the impression of being angry. Disappointed, yes; angry, no. My input was to show how disappointed I was with the Skins of CGB Delta Galaxy, etc. You did good with Silverroot Keshik, of course, it was already in system/game due to the Spirit Bear release from Kodiak pack some years back. So that's a given. If my words seem too harsh, then I sincerely apologize for them, but again, they were never meant to cause harm, or make slight against you, or PGI. Sorry if I went too far with what I said.

I want to be a bit more ellaborate on what I meant. I did not like Galaxy Skin concept because at first I read how it only goes on one mech like if you buy the Silverroot Arctic Wolf, then it only available for that chassis at first. But the more I thought about it, I saw the opportunity of Clan Galaxy skins concept being patterned around the concept like the Platinium Mechs in a way that could be extended monthly to each chassis. For example: The Clan Nova Cat Alpha Galaxy Timber Wolf Scheme would only be available on that mech, but as months go by, the CNC Alpha Galaxy gets extended to the Summoner then the Gargoyle and so on. I would love to see each Clan Galaxy represented though.

As for me, being a lore junkie, I wasn't a fan of how Clan Wolf's and Ghost Bear's Delta Galaxy scheme looked. I felt like they were a lazy attempt a scheme instead of genunine passion of effort and love for the source material of the schemes like in MW5: Clans. CGB's MWO Delta Scheme looked like a ripoff of Vagabond and CW's Delta Scheme didn't look like it's lore based one. I know that I can be a stickler for detail when it comes to lore. So I apologize for coming across as harsh, I do get a bit passionate about BT lore sometimes.

Still, despite what I said, I do believe that this Galaxy Scheme Concept is still pretty good. Given the fact you can use the opportunity to make new Clan galaxy schemes like the CJF Gamma Galaxy or the CW Wolfkin Keshik. Especially if you patterned the concept like the Platinium Mechs with more clan chassis being added to the Galaxy Patterns and I could see myself picking one up in the future if that was the case. I think you can really sell it if you give us Galaxy Decals, Badges, Colors, Titles, etc to really sweeten the deal like the Mechpacks or Legendary Mechs.

EDIT: I read about CW Delta Galaxy and saw that it did state how, only the parade scheme uses the black triangles. So on that part I messed up and I apologize to you on that one. I was thinking of the parade Scheme on the Delta Scheme that I saw on the miniatures from Camospecs thinking that was the primary skin. As much as I call myself a BT lore junkie, not even I know enough of the unit schemes and need to learn more. So that one is my fault.

If you buy the pack, EVERY mech gets the skins. Every clan mech, at least. It isn't like platinum at all.

That was my fault for failing to read that. I was out of line for how I handled my criticisms about the pack. It was immature, childish and stupid to act that way. As well as straight up ignorant on my behalf.

The Clan Galaxy Pack is still a smart business move. To make this deal better, PGI could add some rewards for people who buy the pack. These are the Rewards they can do. I made these in Photoshop, so bear with me:

Originally, I said that this was a hard pass for me, but after reading the information of the pack and buying it, I changed my mind. When I was looking at the schemes of each mech. I enjoyed the looks of them. The Silveroot Keshiks is my favorite one as it looks pretty clean:

There are four things I want to say after getting this pack:
1. I apologize to Tiy0s for coming off as a smart aleck when it came to the BT schemes. I came out of a sense of ignorance with a know-it-all mindset and was wrong to act that way. I should realize that ain't Burger King, this is MWO and I can't always have it my way.

2. I still say that this is a smart business decision by PGI. I hope we can see more Clan Galaxies in the future.

3. If PGI adds Galaxy decals, Badges, Titles and other items into the Galaxy Pack, then this concept will be a home run. Heck, I'm even gonna get a poll started for that.

4. I'd love to see this concept for the IS Briagades like the Crucis Lancers, Lyran Royal Guards and the Marik Militia.

The other thing is that most of these are specular camos. If you apply it and then change the 3 colors, it can greatly change the look of the skin. For example, using the silverroot or the “blue one” and then set all 3 colors to obsidian black, you can get some really cool shiny effects.

Just wanted to say I thought this pack was awesome value for the player - The skins look great, being able to apply them to all clan mechs was incredibly generous, not to mention you get 6 mechs included. Would love to see more packs like this become available.

I just wish there was an option to chose the mechs you get - a bit like for custom platinum packs.
Because even if I'm somewhat interested in the camos, I could not care less about most of the mechs included.
