I've been playing almost a year and haven't seen anyone sporting this title yet. I've seen a lot of "Ace of Spades" titles and have read a few threads about how to achieve that title.
I'm just wondering is all, maybe I haven't seen it because I'll probably be a Tier 5 player for life. (I'm older and my reflexes aren't what they used to be, LOL)
Thanks all!!

basically its a near impossible title thats just around for people who somehow manage something thats next to impossible to complete.

the try hards jumped all over him accused him of killing a bunch of AFKs (I have/had no idea)
back then you could kill what ever and get credit
anyways things have changed and I don't think you get credit for killing AFKs

Needs about same amount of luck as winning lottery, I'd take the money instead of title

It’s just so unlikely to have the right circumstances that it’s pure luck even if you’re an incredibly skilled player. You can see why most people just assume it has to be because of glitches/disconnects to be even possible.

This is not a video of him achieving it.
EDIT: My attempt to link to the relevant time in the video failed. Go to 17:38.

I think the only legit ones would be a top tier pilot hopping onthier tier 5 smurf and getting lucky

Yeah, I've not seen in person or known a friend or unit member to get a legit 12 kill match. And there are a number of Ace of Spades holders who also got theirs when everyone disconnected and they ran around clubbing disconnected mechs.
If you're playing with someone who has a Death Star title and he carries the team, then it could definitely be legit.

Disagree. When you're facing 12 mechs, killing 8 or 12 of them is quite the feat. When you're facing 48 mechs... a lot less so. When I was dropping with units I broke 15 kills a number of times.

How many of your Mechs did those 15 Kills cost you? Was it all done with one Mech or did it require several to get the whole batch?

Perhaps then it should still require that those 8 Kills for Ace Of Spades (or 12 Kills for Death Star) must all be done with one Mech in particular, even if being attempted in Faction-based battles? That would effectively keep the requirements to complete more-or-less just as if you were doing it in Quick Play combat, but maybe give slightly more chance to complete if someone is really lucky.

It would still be much easier to get 12 kills with one mech in faction play than in quick play. Not sure about kills but 2k+ damage with one mech isn't that uncommon, and 4k+ has been done. If you don't get focused much an energy mech can just keep playing.
