Greetings, greedy mechwarriors!

As I mentioned before, I am on mission to Jupiter with cheap Asus notebook and simple Motorola smartphone.

Event is looking so delicious, so I decided to join in harsh mode just for loot.

It took 7 hours to download game.

I try to play from weak notebook + mobile internet + VPN + simple mouse.

Notebook:
Intel® Core™ i3-10110U CPU @ 2.10GHz 2.59 GHz
RAM 8 GB
Video Intel® UHD Graphics

Somehow game is running 10-25 fps on min low graphics.

Running game in such conditions is crazy idea, so I play LRM only from some poor mech, just farm me and be glad.

Connecting a phased lateral laser array to the Motorola smartphone should boost ya right up 45 fps.

First drop was in jungle. Ping was not bad 200-250, but fps around 15. Still did 230 damage and happy, because never thought I could play.

That you managed to land shots at that latency AND lack of smooth framerate, much less enough times to actually rack up a meaningful amount of damage, speaks to either your ability to adapt, or the quality of the opponents.

Ping doesn't really hurt until it's 300+, 250ish doesn't really impact it *that* much.

yep, ping is ok, but 15 fps is crazy

lights near me teleporting so fast, that cant aim them pressing R

i got to spend the next week playing exclusively on my steam deck. im not sure im going to even play mwo unless by some miracle the hotel tv has an hdmi input. also so much for my t2. playing with thumbsticks will make that go away.

oof i know that feeling. i didn't have equipment able to even play the game back in the day (or the internet equipment, being out on some asteroid in the middle of nowhere with only a dial-up connction.). it wasn't until about a year or two after MWO went FtP that i was able to actually play it. (then again i don't touch subscriptions games)

not sure what you can do to get better framerate other than getting better equipment and we all know how expensive that can get..

I ll be back in October on my usual 70-100fps, but just bad 250 Asia ping.

I opened 86 loot box and didn't drop tier much, better than I thought.

How it feel 10-15 fps game?

Resolution is small, so running 60-70 km feeling is the same like running 100 km mech.
You cant shoot lasers, ppc, ballistic properly, so only lrm, atm, streaks.
You have a bit lag in damage and sometimes hard to understand, who was shooting at you.
Unable to target fast movers with R button, cause they too fast. Even big guys targeting is harder, because you not moving perfectly with target.
Hard to climb high places using snake movements.
Sometimes you teleporting, lol.
Almost unable to brawl, moving torso.

Surprisingly 10-15 fps game not so different! Like you drop with good guys=all great. You drop with potato=well... So surprisingly you own performance not so crucial in event time.
