Mech Getting Locked In A Match That I Can't Rejoin.

Well, there doesn't seem to be a bug report forum section, so I'm posting this here.

Just bought a new mech (an Executioner Prime), changed the loadout, saved it, then tried going into my first match with it.

The match started loading, then it loaded me right back to the mech bay with a message of being disconnected from the server, but I could do everything else in the game, including launching training rooms, changing mechs, the works.

I tried reconnecting to the match and the process repeated itself three times.

I then decided to relog and try again. Same results.

Relogged once more, same results. Mech stayed locked in the match that I couldn't rejoin until the whole match timer was over (pretty sure the match ended before the full timer, but it still wouldn't let me try joining a new match).

Tried joining a new match after that, same process. Dumped back to the mech bay, mech locked in the match. Relogging doesn't fix it. I don't wanna try with any other mech because I fear it will result in the same locking.

My stats page doesn't list any matches with the Executioner, so it seems it doesn't even register my attempts at getting into or reconnecting to the matches.

Any idea of what might be going on? Any help would be appreciated.

Tried switching to a different mech to see if the problem is just with that new Executioner, but no dice.

The trial DWolf gets locked in the same way.

Literally can't play the game because it keeps dumping me back to the mech bay with the same disconnected from server message.

Are you using MWO direct installation, or are you using STEAM MWO installation?

Both have "Check Integrity of Game Files" option. Trust that this would help?

I use Steam, just did a verify and trying to get a match now to test it.

Also, I am getting increasing MM time penalties despite the fact that I never get into the match. How long before my testing ends up locking me out for good? (penalties are at 5 minutes now)

Nope, same issue after the file verification.

I figured it out.

One of my two mods (or both) is causing it. I have a sound mod and a color mod. Gonna try each separately to see if it's one or both of them.

Interestingly, both mods work fine in the training rooms, but they're blocking me from getting into matches. Very strange.

P.S.: Got it, it's the weapon color mod. Has it been banned or something? The sound mod is working fine and I can load into matches now.

P.P.S.: Btw, this is the mod that is causing the problem https://www.nexusmod...ronline/mods/63

Soundmods are, while not actively prosecuted by PGI, known to cause issues. Weapon colour mods and similar are banned and can lead to an account ban.
