Each rocket makes 2.15 dmg, so for a 200 dmg/Ton as usual, it needs 93 rockets(199.95 dmg), currenlty is 60 rockets/Ton, you should correct this. And would be better to make Ammo 255 dmg/Ton

Without quirks one ton of SRM ammo is 120 missiles. So 258 dmg for IS and 240 dmg for clan.

Please check your data before making yet another suggestion.

I checked, current SRM Ton is 150 missiles(no Quirks), +20 with Ammo Skills; so IS Total ASRM Ammo Ton=170*2.15=365.5.
Thanks for your attention to this matter

If you shave armor "here and there" you can add more ammo...what? Not worth the trade off? There you have it then, problem solved.

Clearly you're a newbie; It's a known tactic to take armor from the legs, specially on Heavies on Assaults, but lighter weights are fast and need leg integrity to not get hunted, specially Lights. So up to 1.5T sure, maybe 2, but mostly is 0.5-1T, so no, it can't be solved with "shaving armor here and there".

Clearly some 'Mechs due to several types of weps and different types of ammo, they need more ammo capacity: 4-8T, to have enough for a good shoot out match, 4-6T at least.

On Light 'Mechs this has been solved by Magic: just 2x any ammo; not some skill that would enable for all 'Mechs, and a special equipment to earn, to increase the 'Mech Tonnage and another piece of equipment to support the extra weight; things that make sense.

This game is so overhaul overdue
