Downloaded mwo on a recommendation from a long time player. To say I am disappointed would be a massive understatement Started a new account, played thru the highly unimpressive tutorial and jumped into cadet matches. Suffice to say that after 7 games (not a decent enough sample probably) I ended up 0-7, 7 deaths NO wins and noticed I was immediately focused by experienced players in every game I participated in ( easy kill) So as a result I am discontinuing my cadet career and uninstalling the game. It was NOT fun, no voip for new players is a serious oversight because we need it most and was not impressed graphically and I'm running a 2080 ti. I cannot in good faith continue to waste what little gaming time I have on MWO. New players have absolutely no chance using trial mechs or even purchased ones due to no skills. Too bad as I am a real Battletech fan but will move back to tabletop in the interim

Good faith has nothing to do with this; you expected to pick up a game that's notable for its complexity in a day. I'm sorry you didn't pick up the game quickly, but your leaving has nothing to do with being a real Battletech fan, and everything to do with not looking for help in your frustration.

We can help you, if you're willing - you're not being focused because you're new, for example. You're being focused because you don't yet know how and when to expose yourself to make good trades. There's a lot of complexity to MWO, but it's worth the trouble to learn to play.
