Word of advice, PGI... if you want your players to enjoy a game mode, don't make it meme-worthy of the worst kind. Right now, the match countdown lasts longer than the actual matches.

That isn't even the half of it. After every 30 sec runs, we need to wait in excess of 3 mins to get into the next match. On top of it, since the matches are so bad and so low scoring, the match score barely averages 150. This isn't respecting the players' time at all. PGI better run an actual event queue throughout November after this farce ends on Monday.

i have a feeling smaller/faster mechs will work better. its also amazing how much firepower you can cram into an armor stripped mech.

speak for yourself, i might actually load the game today. been dragging heels to get into this event so far. played like 10 games in firemoths and lost interest when it started.

Guess you didn't play the Solaris City map with Mediums and Heavies when I played then. Highest damage anyone got barely scratched 450 and match score peaked around 220 when I finally left.

You mean spending 3-4mins in the queue and playing the actual match for less than 1 min... and having low scoring matches due to vastly reduced ttk... was the point, not the other way around? I see. So glad you cleared that up for me. I finished collecting all the loot bags in soup queue last weekend. If only I had spent more time looking at the spinny wheel instead of playing matches, eh?
