How is the IS UAC/20 damage calculated with the 3 slugs? If each slug hits different parts, then each area takes 6 and 2/3 damage (20/3) which has to round up/down. Would that mean the UAC/20 has more/less DPS if you spread out the slugs?

I would not assume that it has to round up/down to a whole number. More likely that they coded it to cut off at few decimal places.
Many of the weapons have decreasing damage over range which seems to be reduced beyond whole numbers. So, you could go in the testing grounds to verify if you would want.
Probably best to just play the game and enjoy.
Now if you want tabletop rules.... That is probably a different game.

Yes, a few years ago MWO did reply via this forum that damage is allocated with decimal place(s) as needed.
Sorry, can't find that particular posting a few years back...

Thanks. It's not a big deal but I was kinda curious since the clan version has 4 slugs.
EDIT: I was wrong. The clan version also has 3 slugs.

Are armor/structure values similarly float values when dealing with percentage increases from skills? Because sometimes they roll over by 2 instead of 1 due to rounding, but I've always wondered if there's actual rounding involved.

The rollover in mechlab is cosmetic, behind the scenes tracking of armor values is decimal to sufficient places to be accurate.
