Mauler will be No. 16, I can almost prove it...

Clans had Omnimechs in 3049 and I do hope we get the raptor in around 3 years time.
*sighs*, yes but we are not PLAYING the Clans. (yet, anyhow) therefore, the next Mech released... wont be one we can't play for about a year.

Besides the fact they're unique, Capellan army surely has a lot of them.
Eh... hate to break it to you, but prior to the Fourth Succesion War,, you could barely muster 60 regiments, mostly of inferior tech. You have had no Facilities capable of building a Mech over 60 tons for decades. Then During the Fourth War, House Davion gutted the Confederation, and between the St Ives Commonality defection, the absorption of Tikonov's worlds, you are at about 1/3 the worlds and forces you started with (barely 40 to begin with). True Romano Liao has been building up, but aside from Frankenstein Cataphrachts, largely cobbled together from other mechs you had to scrap, you have few forces larger than Vindicators (which I hope they bring into the game).
So while you have a handful of Cyclops and Victors, the only thing you have in plentiful numbers is Vindicators and Urbanmechs. (Another design I want IN!)
Of course, after 3052, y'all start to get yours again.

I'd want to say Zeus because they love putting iconic faction-centric 'mechs in the game, but with the Awesome already on the Roster, the Zeus isn't going to feel too terribly different except to lorehounds.
That being said, I think Mauler is a pretty strong guess, and we'll see it relatively soon. I just have a hunch that Highlander will beat it out.

Ill agree with you that the Annihilator is a good mech and I too would love to see it, but it was a Wolf's Dragoons exclusive mech until the Jihad. On top of that the Dragoons brought the mech with them from Clan space and although it was designed at the end of the Star League era it was designed by Kerensky and the design was taken when he left the Inner Sphere.
So I doubt we will see it.
Ill put in for either the Cyclops or Highlander for the 16th, the Mauler would me great too.
Cyclops, Highlander, and Victor are all good ideas, I forgot about the Wolf's Dragoons bit, thanks for reminding me.
Honestly I'm thinking we're going to see a Longbow or similar missile-boat assault come out, we've yet to receive a support type assault yet anywise, so it should make one should make an appearance to balance things out.

The Annihilator is a clan mech though. Its used exclusively by Wolf's Dragoons.

What do you think the Stalker is? Swap out the SRMs for some more LRMs, and you have the missile boat you want. Plus a lot more lasers.

That "evidence" certainly doesn't say Mauler to me any more than it says Axman honestly as we have no Heavy Melee mechs and it has been mentioned in ISN feeds. Which isn't to say that either wont appear (I hope both so we can have cartoon lances ) though it's not really definitive. Of course the Assault mechs are outnumbered right now, but I'm not even sure that means much.
