It is a roll playing online game caled Defence of the Ancients. Got this from thier website. thats all i know.

PS. i looked it up cause i didnt know what it was eather.

Heya guys dota also known as defence of the ancients is a moba style game, where by you select a "champion" with certain attributtes which as you gain exp level up in game, as you level you can put your points into certain skills to unlock them or make them more powerfull... how do you level up? well this is the premise of the game, both teams have a base with 3 pathing lanes of atttack defended by turrets, each of these lanes constantly spawn equal strengeth minions that meet in the middle to fight, as enemy minions die you gain xp and if you get the killing blow you get gold to buy items for your character, if you kill a champion on the opposing team you get significantly more gold and xp, the objective is relatively simple push (killing enemy minions alowing yours and you to be able to attack opposiong turrets) a lane (or multiple lanes) untill you can get to and destroy the enemy base.

Not quite.

Dota (Defense of the Ancients) is a game where you play one of many (over one hundred) heroes on a team of five, vs another team of five. You have three lanes that you "push" and kill monsters in those lanes for gold, while trying to kill the enemy heroes as well. You push to people's bases and destroy their towers and barracks to make your monsters stronger. Whoever destroys the enemy's "Throne" wins the game.

Dota started has been around for nearly ten years or so now.
