My gut response on seeing this was "Ha! Now that's the spirit, give away the worst mech in the game!" But then I had to check myself, as I have played it a few times since the patch/buffs, and I have been pleasantly surprised. The increased cooldown and the extra armor have made it significantly more fun to play, and have allowed it to have a bit more variety than the old niche of hanging in the back with AC2s or light gauss and plinking all game, until a better light (any light) comes to kill you. I've been running 2 LAC2s and 2 SRM4s and putting up reasonable numbers, even with my near suicidal tendencies.

Guess you never heard of the Nova-D then.
I mean I don't blame you, even with its -60% cooldown and similar playstyle as the Ballistic Panther it's still not even that good.

I don't think any omnimech can qualify, because you can pod swap it into something better.

This thing is stuck being what it is. (I don't know that it's the worst mech in the game, it's a playstyle I have never enjoyed, so I haven't spent much time with it at any point and certainly not recently, but I won't be keeping a second copy. I'm not complaining, either. MC and a mechbay for just playing? Cool.)

have those 'eyes' m the cockpit being a 'mouth' and the 2 handles on the top of the head being its 'ears' always been a thing or does the color scheme just make it feel that way?

also, does this get a special tag like snowball and fireball?

These assets have always been that way.

I am unable to access the page that tracks the event progress. Only the banner image loads along with selections for past current and future events.

Is this not the correct url?

It's correct. And the site loads fine for me. Connections have been a bit spotty recently. My advice is to try again later or use the ingame Eventpage to track the progress.

Yup, it’s a bit too big and slow to do traditional light mech stuff, but it makes a decent assault-mech escort when equipped with shotguns and SRMs.

If you take a look at the Event's page and what it shows, no displayed Camo elements are part of what one can earn. This means nobody can duplicate the Event's image without already having those resources, or spending a bit to acquire what's needed for imitation. I'm sure there are others who will probably concur with your sentiments eventually, but we ultimately have no idea what goes on behind-the-scenes when only basic stuff is available to earn.

I've managed to finish the Event and it was certainly an interesting run. Thank You for the "Panther PNT-10P" which you're rewarding people with this time!
