Didn't in one of the novels or sourcebooks, Celestial Wisdom dispatched a single Commando to a world that was in rebellion, and shortly thereafter all resistance ceased?

They sent 1 Death Commando to Northwind to try to get the Highlanders to come back to the CC, or atleast remain neutral. It was a mixed success. The Highlanders fought a kind of civil war, and then ended up independent, but the Death Commando (who was a Highlander by birth) defected.

I dunno if that's what you ment, but It's the only Lone Commando deployment that comes to mind.

My personal favorite is Warrior House Hiritsu. They have an interesting background and their mechs colors are fantastic. I picked them for my TT unit because of their colors. I also enjoy playing the Marauders and Men Shen in TT, both of which are standard for House Hiritsu.
