Just to name a few in general regardless of timeline appearance or factions. That are pretty damn ugly.

Victor is actually pretty easy. It tanslated pretty well to MW4, and I have done several versions myself. I will say that pretty much anything from TRO 3055 on is going to be hard, because the parent designs make NO sense to begin witth.

Out of the 3025 era.... I don't think it's as bad as all that (if they can salvage the Spider, they can salvage ANYTHING), since Losse used a mechanical drafting style to begin with. Now the TRO 3050 versions?!?!?!? Barf.

Not true, they have some nice designs. i like the fireball and dart. Not to mention Tarantula and Hammer. Hell I like most of them
...
Then again i have odd taste.

Of the top of my head, the 2 mechs in this era which will challenge FD the most are (for my money) Black Knight & Hatamoto. They both look too much like a bloke in armour, rather than a big stompy robot. But they are both iconic designs, and a lot of fans (myself included) will scream blue murder if they get redesigned to look like a pair of Dark Age mecha-clicks. It could be a tough balancing act to make them look like the originals AND look like the other mechs.

I hope he reads this & thinks "challenge accepted", 'cos I really want a Hatamoto. :D

<- THIS GUY. This guy is suggesting a complete makeover.

I've been collecting TROs since 2001, and with a few notable exceptions ALL BATTLEMECH ARTWORK IS HORRENDOUS. Good on FD for finally sketching out some designs that mate the awesome concept with the cold, iron reality of giant walking robot tanks. One can only hope that MWO lives forever more, so he can keep on replacing garbage with the new aesthetic.
