So it's probably been at least ten-fifteen years since I've read a Battletech book, I need something to get me into the 3049 mood. I'm also a huge Clan sympathizer so I need something to sway me to liking the barbaric Inner Sphere.

Need a kindle book to get into 3049

Didn't find any that were set in the 3049 time frame that would be a good read sorry...
Is a good stroy but is more set in the clan invasion timeframe than 3049

http://www.stargazer..._novel_list.htm chronological order with most/all novels listed.
If you want actual dates I believe sarna has listings.
Blood of Kerensky trilogy may be a good place to start, or at least it seems to be set in the timeframe. Otherwise just look em up on Sarna.net until you find one you like.
Disclaimer: I havn't really read any yet.

Its at the end of the succession wars and the beginning of the clan invasion era, but its the closest thing to where we are in MWO. It covers some of the fallout of the succession wars so you get a feel for that era.
Here is a link to the book and what it covers: http://www.sarna.net...Lethal_Heritage

Not all three books of the trilogy are available for Kindle. For some reason, just the second book. At least, I haven't been able to find books 1 and 3 for Kindle.
