until I have actualy tried it myself.

Money is very tight for me and cannot afford to spend 30 dollars for something I may not like.

I may just have to wait until its F2P release whenever that is.

That's perfectly fair mate =)
(Don't be surprised if some people accuse you of entitlement psychology though - but you're probably not going to get into beta if that's what you're edging for =P )

In Germany we have a proverb: Your opinion is just as important as a bag of rice tilting over somewhere in china.

For some reason that reminds me of: "Dignity and a sack is still worth a sack."

Well, no ones forcing you to pay for a FREE game. Suggest you do some research before ranting.

to the OP: congratulations on showing that you are not the kind of person that the founders packs are intended for.

founders packs are intended for people who have faith that MWO will be a good game and are willing to invest in the game.

tbh I go hungry sometimes, and the 30 dollars i could spend on founders pack, i could eat good food with, i cannot afford the luxary of having faith.

Has anyone considered that many of you have paid twice the usual amount that a video game costs for a video game that is not even an actual reality yet?

Don't get me wrong. I play every day and I will likely drop the dough this week, (before Aug 7) as a Bday present to me, but... have you considered that? Twice the amount of a normal game for a Free 2 Play title that is not even available. What we are really providing is venture capital. We are saying that we want for this to be a success so much that we are willing to pay twice as much as a blockbuster title in hopes that millions of others will join us for free.

Well somehow i agree, but i had been a whole fans to mech warrior, but somehow it doesnt fair too for the others fans tat lack on financial...
As my friend all are waiting to join in with me in the close beta, and only 2 of us are the founder, and the others will need to wait til it F2P release...even $30 is kinda high in my country somehow...

but i can tell is, im not regret getting this pack, it worth for me of praying this game for becoming an online game for so many years, its finally here and no way for me to skip, im in, See you all in the battle field.

Uhm.
Well i can understand your situation.
I even feel sorry for you that you have that low money atm and wish you a better future.

But:
That is a total pointless and unimportant information for that forum so why are you posting it?
And why are you posting it and expecting something else but "go away troll" answers?

I feel your pain Phoenix, I bought it without checking my bank account. Now I'm noticing I could *really* have used not buying it. Kinda forgot I have no income over summers...Whups.
Unfortunately, as great a community as this, most of the greats see posts like this one and assume it's a troll or someone whining for beta access - we've had too many of both. So the only people who read it are trolls and a couple people like me curious to see if there's anything in the thread saying 'I just noticed this mechanic in the videos and I don't like it' or something.
