I would love to pilot an Ostscout. Fast and jumpy with great electronic warfare package.

I feel the need - the need for speed. Speed and jump jets all the way. I do not mind humanoid as long as it can kneel down!. Also with the new mech load out virtually any light might be good. So bring on the old school stingers and wasps all the way.

Jenner. If I can, I'll strip a laser or two to increase my speed.

There is no option for a scout ATLAS? How else can Steiner forces scout with a Light Zues?

Joking aside I would prefer using the raven for open terrain and a good fast mech with jumping ability for Urban warfare

Good old Osiris with maxed out speed and jump jets all the way!
Fastest mech in exesitance (that I know of) with jump jets, its IS so it will be cheap to mantain and it carrys enought weapons to annoy the crap out of most mechs.
Only problem is I dont know when it was first built XD

The Shadow Cat B is a recon/skirmisher mech. ECM Suit, Active Probe, LRM-15 w/ CASE, and two ER Medium Lasers. Nasty piece of work if you use if right.

I've always liked the panther, but its more of a light fire support i felt. Commando is a good choice thoe, just like mw2 mercs. Are unseen allowed? if so those have some of the cooler ones.

Raven's are always fun for field recon, But you would also also take a good long look at the Spider, and definitely the Firestarter, nothing better for making an enemy's approach a hot reception.
