hi so i was installing this from http://www.mektek.net/ according to instructions and all of a sudden the installer stops. It says it's still installing but download speed and everything is 0. I checked in my folder and under games, it has mechwarrior4mercenaries.all.to.51.03.01.0028.mtx with 1.84GB which seems to be finished but the file is unopenable. when i click on it, it asks me to choose a program from the list. Is there anything I have missed or is there download down atm or maybe it's impossible to finish the download??

Curious why you came here, but have you tried using the mtxpatch utility using torrents?

no i dont have a torrent program. i just followed the directions given here. http://www.mektek.ne...downloads-r1204

Check this thread out of curiousity? but the best way to download mercs is the MTX Patch and Extract Utility Tool so sad to say, you'll need a torrent program.
