There's no straight answer for this as numerous independent units are affiliated. Some units play in the various community-run leagues, and some are very casual, so there's a variety. There's no commitment, so if you think you want to know more, I suggest dropping by the TeamSpeak server to meet some of the different pilots and units. Friday night Steinerfest can be a good casual way if you're interested.

Journey posted the link to part 1 of this event. Part 2 was created due to the popularity and fun of part one and the link follows. YOU NEED NOT HAVE PLAYED IN PART 1 to come join us and have a blast in part 2. Each session: afternoon (EU evening) and evening will be scored independently. There should be units there from several clans, house militaries and merc corps to test your metal against and/or team up with. This event is about bringing ALL the community together for a good time. Some lances will be defending their championship status from last week, and others will be challenging them. That doesn't mean,though, that if you're a casual or just curious bunch of pilots, that you won't have fun. Barring some sort of surprise technical breakdown, we will do our best so all lances will see how they compared. The PUG lottery throws everyone off their game anyway, so EVERYONE has a good chance of coming out on top.

In my years of being part of the House Steiner Hub, I can speak very highly of the experience I have had. This confederation of units together comprised the largest Steiner community in Mechwarrior online, made up of 28 separate, autonomous FedCom, LCAF, and mercenary units of all sizes. That's a really awesome collection of people, and we're bound together not simply for the blue fist of the Steiner flag (or all the money they paid me to write this), but because we believe that community and cooperation is key to having a healthy game - for us and for our opponents. Those who are interested in what we have to offer who are looking for a unit have many to choose from, and I encourage you to look into the hub. You can be a lone wolf and spend as long as you want looking for a group - and while many units are recruiting, you don't have to join any of them. It is unlike any other Steiner teamspeak out there! We've got it all, and more!

I spoke with one of your officers today - do pirates have officers? - and took him for a tour of our teamspeak and facilities. Keep an eye out for further communication from myself in attempt to coordinate a meeting with some of our officers. Perhaps we can parley? When I first arrived in the Inner Sphere I thought that Lyran customs were strange. Where I come from, taxes do not exist and pirates are an unmentionable caste of persons. I suppose I have a lot more to learn if I am to continue to be a warrior here in the ruins of the Star League.

Yes, even though we are a coalition of free peoples, fighting with the common cause of c-bills and rum, we do elect a senior council to represent us. These "Officers" are chosen not promoted from rank, but all major decisions are made thru the holding of a Brethren Court, thus every pirate in the unit has a voice and a say in how the unit develops. We are a successful, true casual play unit and stand at 50+ active players and growing. Thought we do not form lances, we do have a full casual battalion, a competitive play battalion (That is still very casual) and rumor suggest the Europeans are wanting to create a 3rd battalion so we are 24/7 capable. The Brethren look forward to seeing how this new alliance evolves.

I am a new player looking to get some drops with my Steiner brothers!
Have the Cata 2X and liking it alot. Obviously will get more into it if I find a right Unit.
