Ever thought of making an ork from Hunchback and Eldar from Centurion? Just saying. :P

You could do it up in Biel Tan colours, attach spirit stones and put thorny decals on it, but it would still not be smooth and sleek enough (or have a weirdly enlarged enough head) to look truly eldar.

For Eldar you'd have to wait for a more lithe and/or sleek 'mech, like the Wraith, to show up.

For Orcs, you simply have to paint them red (to go faster, of course), give it a rough up look, and attach some extra "shooty bits" :).

One of the mentioned is the only force in the galaxy, that can destroy Tyranids and the second one keeps Chaos at bay. :)

And his sons, the Adeptus Astartus, will burn you in the cleansing fire of the flamer and the purifying might of the holy bolter, and he on the Golden Throne will bless such actions, and call them good.

Hey, I have redone the RTG Hunchback in the style of the Uziel
Posted Image

I have stripped back the red around the cockpit a bit (so it is more like the picture of the Uziel above) and rotated the insignia

Darrin, do you just rotate the image, or do you use the skew tool?

He seems to be rotating it, not skewing it. You need to go to transform, skew, and then alter the angle of the leg image such that it matches the perspective. I think there's a perspective tool in PS too, though I don't ever use it. I still need to find the time to do my Centurion addition here.

Also wanted to say: Darrin, Ironhawk, Hayden, Lhyenne (sp?) all of you that have contributed to this thread in repainting these concepts, you are Godly and oh so very worthy. Thank you for taking your time and providing this unpaid but very appreciated service to all fans of Battletech and Mech Warrior. Keep up the great work. I'm not entirely new to the Mech Warrior thing, though I haven't played a whole lot... So I guess that still makes me a newbie, especially here...

Ironhawk, awesome Urbie work, love it. When are you going to create the refined line edition that people can repaint?

Correction, Hayden is Godly, an avatar descended directly from the BT universe to guide us all, the rest of us are ordinary citizens. :-D. The new Urbie is out in its thread and I have posted an updated Coliseum version dedicated to all of you, my repainting friends. I will come back to this greatest of all threads to see repaints (I hope) of little Urbie.

ED: Also, last edit: good work on the urbie.

No, sir. I am just a man with too much free time. Also, to keep us OT:

Yeah, that just happened.

ED: and by "that", I mean the gaudiest scheme I've ever concocted :(
ED: I shall post to this thread no more without including a repaint.
