Not sure if this has been done already; if not, though, would it be possible to see a 'Mech in Irish DPM?

Which mech would you like?

Whichever you prefer - they're all good; I just thought it'd be cool to see the pattern used

The possible problem now is I want them both, would love to do my mechs in both patterns. :)
How can we ninja them into the game?

Thanks for compliments, guys. :)

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but I believe Russ and Bryan stated that skins would be usable, though I'm not sure if they meant these kinds of camo patterns. I love to see most, if not all of the designs in this thread, used in game as I'd love to use the UK CRYE multicam on my mechs. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Pirates! The Order of the Faithful inspired by Dak

Click here for the superb miniature rendition of the Order on CSO.

The Order's supposedly ancient 'Mechs, recovered from buried desert stockpiles, retain their Star League Defense Force khaki color. However, the rough life on Astrokaszy has weathered them with excessive amounts of wear, tear, and lack of maintenance.

I hope this rendition is correct:

Sorry Ironhawk. No doubt it's perfectly correct and all, but this looks too NPC'ish to me. Less a fighter and more something that I encounter on my jurney and kill for some spare bolts.

You're the artist, make one yourself...

But really, I don't want to offend anyone. The design is very nice, just doesn't suit my taste. No need to get offended when someone doesn't like some of your work (kinda like Paul).

But I can easily understand why you did as you did. Endless hours put into that scrappy look and first comment is: "I don't like it." I'd probably get offended a bit, too.

Think you can do a Repaint of the Atlas using US Marine Corps Woodland MARPAT with my Platoon image for the decal?

I don't know. I think he's not unlike these forums' own version of Gollum. Somehow he has a part to play in this saga...

On this post you at least recognize the work behind the repaint and not only your taste. I invite you to search the camospecs and look at reference to know where an fan artist comes from... In this case, if you analyze the work necessary to reproduce a scrappy look as you call it, you'll find that there is actually an entire layer of metal painting behind the scrap paint layer. Then decal layers and details were added and extra effects for rust and added wear. So yes much work went into this. Technically one of the toughest for me to do...

Cool. But I have a long overdue date with a Grasshopper work in progress file... That will be my focus for the next week or so.
