I haven't been in this thread for ages, but expect to see a Highlander in a Windbourne color scheme in the next few days.

Alright, next 10 (out of semi-retirement!) As usual, the template is my own.

First up is a Highlander from the 1st St. Ives Lancers.
Posted Image

5th Sword of Light Highlander
Posted Image

Roman's Mounted Fusiliers of the St. Ives military command. I wanted to give the red trim on the hands and feet a more stylized look instead of the "blood splatter". The nose art on the chest is meant to represent the old unit standard under the CCAF with the text "Flag Waver" defacing it (the standard is conjectural, based off one seen in the CCAF handbook of '88). This unit is perhaps piloted by an older officer who longs to return to the Confederation?

8th Syrtis Fusiliers Highlander. "There can only be one". This paint scheme is based off the one outlined in Camospecs '88, rather than CSO.
Posted Image

Marcella's Armored Infantry Highlander. The MAI always seemed like it should be a no-frills unit, given it's name and color scheme. This is a field scheme, the parade scheme uses silver and red highlights instead of the brown seen here.
Posted Image

4th Skye Rangers. "The Claymore".
Posted Image

Blackwind lancers. I pretty much love how this one came out.
Posted Image

Atrean Hussars. 'Nuff Said.

More to come!

Looking good, but it needs a large TCB over a lightning Bolt too.

Ah, oh well. There was only two pictures of Rhonda's Highlander, they both didn't have any decals/logos on it. Just pink paint and 6 speakers. I added 3 decals, which ideas came from a drawing of Rhonda herself.

Hard to say if that's her mech or not.... because the leg isn't painted in pink.

Hey Guys! It's been while since I posted any repaints, but I had a few free minutes to do a quick one.

This is a Centurion done in the color scheme I used for my Hunchback Desktop.

Can you do a Flea in this scheme?

Thank you for the work on templates Hayden this is a close render of what my table top Mech looked like, I hope they let us paint our Mechs.
Posted Image

Edit: The story behind the paint job. The GM thought it would be funny for my Mech's metal have a chemical reaction after falling into a dump-pond at a factory we were fighting around. Then my lance thought it would be funny to have a new member shoot me with cans of pink paint. Sadly he did not make it but on the bright side the paint scheme looked awesome.

I don't want to compete with the big league but I decided to finish this (didn't release yesterday because I was in trouble with the speakers).

Rhonda's Highlander.

Posted Image

Still need some work, but this is definitely the hardest repaint I did yet.

Edit: one more picture of Rhonda.

Edit: fixed the name of the mech (was "Rondha's Highlander"!)

Edit: I based it in this description.

Best one in the series for now. :)

I have to ask, however, what's with the cockpit windows? Wha are they green from inside?

Thanks. The coloration has to do with some of the corrections I did when making the template. Now that you bring it up, I find myself irked, so I'll fix it in future renditions.

...

Deep down on the inside, the pilot is still capellan.
