Sorry, I am no longer publicly releasing MechWarrior-related art at this time.

Im not sure what to call it, but its a likley paint job for my favorite mech build that Ive named "Death Song". Its a truly deadly mech in matches and I think this paint job would look nice on it.

Amazing !!! Its perfect, very nice work. Like the FRR snake head above the cockpit, nice touch and the skull turned out incredible. Again amazing and thank you for taking the time to do it.

I did this one awhile back and just can't seem to find it using the forums' new search engine... Since Hayden can't publish his own MW:O art anymore, here's a repost of a 1st Ghost Centurion (as per a request):
Also did a 7th Ghost Cat K2 just a couple of pages back... Hope you enjoy.

Good stuff! Looks Izanagi inspired (if it was gold instead of copper).

If you'd be so kind to add the latest templates from my DA site (~sightsonyou) to the bottom of your 1st post, they'd be easier to find for other colleagues. There should at least be the Cat K2, the Flea and the Spider templates available. Thanks!
EDIT: corrected some tie-poes!
>Hawk out.

Forgive my ignorance, what is Izanagi? Can you point me to references, I'd like to see how they compare...maybe its a style I'd like to work in.
I also like how you were able to overlay symbols onto the countours of the mech's hull...how you do that? (Im using GIMP). I was just trying to do something like that this morning, but I couldnt get it to look convincing. The only other way I can think of is to use the symbol as a template while I trace/outline it by hand, conturing it myself(sounds like a a bit of work).
I'd love to apply Japanese style tatoo-like art and engravings on my mechs...like your Centurion. The washed out/faded parts are a detail Im not ready to master yet, but such details will be learned later Im sure.

Re: Izanagi, you can refer to this link. For faction painting inspiration, you can also browse through the camospecs (search for 'cso gallery' on Google).
To save a lot of time, some of us have created templates (usable with GIMP or Photoshop). Hayden has posted his and some of mine on his first post (the very beginning of this loooong thread).
Have fun.

CocoaJin: I ADORE that Cicada repaint. I'd wear that ingame.

Here is my atempt at the Flying Tigers Cat
I used to work as a volunteer tour guide at an air museum when I was around 19. Robert L. Scott would drop by and chat with me from time to time. If you know the Flying Tigers, you know who he is.
