I think the Savagewolf looks more clan-ish. But It reminds me of the MadCat mk2 more than the original Timberwolf.
Would be cool to have the omnis show even more what kind of weapon is equipped (like the arms here on that Savage with the PPCs) and maybe we can get the Timmy look like that with the Alt-D variant ingame?

yep, it was like that, The Dark Age version just looks weaker to me, especially the arms and legs, they way the upper and lower is tacked on to eachother. When I very first heard about this game in close beta, and saw the catapult for the first time (which I thought was one of the ugliest mechs in all other versions of battletech), I thought to myself, 'I REALLY hope that they make the TWolf look like that when it comes out'. Especially the main body it reminds me of the A-10 warthog. Just so I'm not completely hating on the DA TWolf, I do like the missle pods with their angled shape

You know that it isn't a Timber Wolf. It's a Savage Wolf, a mech that would kick Timberwolf into dust tech-wise.
