I thought I would take a crack at these guys and the "Jade" hightlights based off of CSO and try and get a realistic looking jade pattern, while trying not to overwhelm the mech and lighting. As well as adding a touch of worn look to it.

A way to relax between assessments... so I took some time to repaint the Quickdraw in the colours of the Marian Hegemony - II Legio Cataphracti (http://www.camospecs...Unit.asp?ID=624). A simple copper and blue highlights to a white base coat, maybe a touch overdone but you can't help but get carried away with the detail these concept art have! Might actually do a small project and remake the insignia, but that's another project...

The only time the proportions look correct to me is when it has no arms. XD I just think it's too short and fat looking. Needs to be tall and slim IMO. Don't blame you for liking it though, it's still cool.

This thing is just awesome. "It's a Quickdraw not an Awesome!" =_= HahahaNo. But really, super cool. Would you lynch me if I said it reminded me of the RX-78 Gundam? Q.Q

I think anything big tall and stompy can be similar in paint to Gundams xD
