Haven't seen higher res yet. Besides, with 1 mech a day how does PGI expect us to keep up? ;-)

Well, not the most attractive one in the world, (Had to combine the bigger one with the really low res one) but here is a fairly generic 17th Donegal locust.
Posted Image
PS: Of course, all hail the great flyingdebris, and hope everyone can accept this (with some tweeks as I have time) for a little while till we can get the real high res ones.

PPS: Anyone want to use the basic template I have? (You can clean it up of course, goodness knows it needs it.)

Hey, i really like these repaintings but could someone make an awesome Timberwolf / Mad Cat concept? Possibly, not something we could see only in 90 years :)

nice!

Of course, it the modelers use their generic weapon templates, and scale the mech according to the machine guns, The Locust will be about the size of a Catapult. Which seems about par for course of late.

*NOTE TO PGI: THe UNESEEN will be a tough sell in many areas even with Alex's redesigns work. Don't screw this one up by "giving us what we want" then nerfing the heck out of the models by making them all gigantic targets like the Cent, Treb, Quickdraw, etc.........

PLEASE

What about Thunderbolt?

That mech is massive lore-wise. <_<

actually, lore wise it was squat. So it was not terribly tall, so much as very very bulky. So probably scaled like an Awesome, only shorter. Problem is, the way the art department is going, it will end up wider AND taller than the Atlas.

This is probably one of my main worries with the game balance at the moment - mech sizes keep growing, resulting in mediums almost as large as assaults. I doubt it will ever go too far beyond what we've already seen, but even as is, there's definite room for improvement - yet PGI seems reluctant to admit anything of the sort.

House Ijori Locust. The insignia is at the very top, it is supposed to look like this.

Hope you like it. (This one is slightly more cleaned up.)
And here is the base I am working off of.

Very Quick and Dirty attempt on the Shadow Hawk (basic color change, really)... I think she will look excellent in Blue.

I like. Perhaps I should have skipped the low res legs and done it your way. Hmmm....
And I agree, blue is rather dashing on her.

Beside all the fluff, I just hope that Project Phoenix page doesn't represent their future in-game scale.
BTW, Adridos, don't you find that Liao insignias on the Shadow Hawk are homage to your signature and significant spam contribution on this forum :) ?

Doubtful... but as far as I'm concerned, I'd like to believe it is, so yeah.

As far as scale is concerned, the concept art is always scaled up/down depending on the mech, so I don't think this is really representative of the scale we'll see.

We still need the full pictures without fading to do so, though.

Unfortunately, I will never be able to fully appreciate the color details in most of these, but they look great from what I can make out.
