A mech with 12 Ballistic hardpoints and 12 AC2s
(9 or 10 AC2s is possible on a 100t mech)
As its 1 slot, you could mount a AC2 in each section of your mech, even head and legs ;P

Too controversial...
- First Piranha variant is built in 3051;
- All other Piranha variants come much later in the timeline;
- Too fast for the current state of MWO's engine;
- 12 ballistics + 3 energy hardpoints;
- Clan mech, not IS.

The mech has 20 tons. How many AC/2s would you fit there?

1) only the first variant, i see. Well i should have known better: not all the variants may have been introduced by 3051 (it could fit however).
2)Too fast? Missed it..
3)Well you caught me on it..
Ok, no Piranha.. I stil cannot figure it out then, if it is not the Wolfhound.

From NGNG podcast #100, we're getting a hero mech for an entirely new chassis on Feb 4th (not a hero for an existing chassis). There's a good chance it'll be a light, but if it is it won't be a Panther.

It would be off because it only has one available variant in time line, and the others are quite some time away. And being 5 tons heavier, one can't really just tuck it into the Spider tree as many are suggesting because it is indeed a separate chassis.
I highly doubt we will ever see it in game because of the 3 variant necessity. But if they did, they would need to size inflate it like they keep doing to Mediums or something, maybe really nerf it's agility (which makes no sense on a mech known for it's agility) because otherwise it would totally obsolete the Spider.

Are you forgetting how PGI shoved more variants of the highlander into the game because there wasn't enough in this time line?
