I'm not sure of what you are saying...

But no, there is no connection between the Gargoyle (a 80 tons Clan omnimech) and the Atlas (a 100 tons Inner Sphere mech), except both are humanoid with a "skull" head.

I always see such nicely repainted mechs

while I think I'm not bad at Photoshop, I'll still haven't figured out how to repaint certain parts of a mech, and even changing weapons and applying shadows to make it look real enough again

anyone have any actual pointers?

Kinda looks like you saved it into a lower res, other than that looks pretty good.

We have/had a seperate Signature thread somewhere. But I can't find it anymore.
There were hundreds of requests and lots of people creating signatures for others.
Maybe someone can find it, maybe it's gone, but this is not the right place for signatures.
