EDIT: This Jenner is "Kitbashed" from concept art I've been playing with. While this Jenner is very similar superficially to the JR7-D, it now represents a JR7-A prototype in Eridani Light Horse colors. This is from an earlier time in the history of the Light Horse, before the unit fell out with it's employer, the Draconis Combine. The JR7-A has a sole large laser mounted in the right torso.

Oh... it's beautifull! :)

Yep, thanks for the horsemen Jenner, hayden! Had a couple minutes of fun discovering it's insignias.

Wonderful paint overs! MOAR MOAR MOAR!

Dude. Guys, look. This is one of the best threads I've seen on here (been reading all day, so colorful pics are a plus), and our good buddy Bryan just shot the cred through the roof. If I ever need to make a point of him being like the rest of us fans, I'm going to point to this post.

Also, love the re-skins. Can't wait for more art so a)we'll have more 'Mechs, and b)so you'll have more stuff to reskin.

Hey guys, I really appreciate all the kind words! I really enjoy working on these images, it's really a labor of love! I try to keep them accurate and use whatever resources I have (CamoSpecs '88, the CamoSpecs website, Mercenaries Handbook '87, and many others). Sometimes I do take creative liberties (not all 'mechs are painted equally) and I strive to keep a certain level of quality: I want to make this stuff worth your time!

Anyway to keep things clean I post multiple images to a post, and then edit in new ones. I try to post at least one new 'mech a day, so even if the number of posts isn't increasing, new images may still pop up. Right now my images are on pages 1, 2, and 3, incase any were missed.

EDIT: Also huge props to Flying Debris. I'm not half the artist he is, and without his wonderful concept art none of these images would be possible. I asked his blessing before embarking on this little endeavor, and really appreciate his willingness to let me "play" with this already wonderful art.

Thanks again!

Is it me, Hayden, or should that Crescent Hawk Hunchback be named Pipboy?

:)

I'll get a Kellhounds one up some time tonight. I'm waiting to see if we get a Warhammer before I do Wolf's Dragoons.

Round 4 Images. Other images on pages 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7.

Hopefully this week we get some new concept art!

Alright folks! Tonight we begin this next segment of repainted 'Mechs with a little number from Little Richard's Panzer Brigade. The writing on the sing says "Tutti-Frutti" and yes, that is the Little Richard of the 20th/21st century on the left arm. I guess I summoned up Snord's Irregulars when I made this one :)

EDIT: Another of the "poor man's" hunchback IIC. This one is piloted by a star commander of Smoke Jaguar's Delta Galaxy. It will eat your 'mech.
Posted Image

EDIT: Alright, for you folks who love the deep periphery or Bavarian motif Battlemechs: from the Hanseatic League a Hunchback of the 2nd Regional Defense Force.
Posted Image

EDIT: 1st Kathil Uhlans Atlas, as requested by Jack Gallows. Not a lot of information on this unit's colors, so I did what I could.
Posted Image

EDIT: Avanti's Angels Hunchback, as requested by phelanjkell.
Posted Image

EDIT: 4th McCarron's Armored Cavalry requested by ry0k3n. Pretty happy with this.
Posted Image

EDIT: Ghost Bear Hunchback IIC from the Beta Galaxy. Per request of Coffinail.
Posted Image

EDIT: Smoke Jaguar Hunchback IIC from the Alpha Galaxy. Per request of Amarus Cameron. With a name like that he's gotta be internally conflicted :D
Posted Image

EDIT: Com Guard 3rd Army Atlas. Because I haven't had anything Com Guard related since I started this thread.
Posted Image

EDIT: Marian Hegemony IV Legio Atlas. II Legio was requested, but I had a hard time finding references for their color schemes, so I did IV Legio instead.

Thanks for viewing!

This is really, really cool. I'm guessing you just mask out the mech and do all the recolor on an overlay layer?

I'll get started on some myself later.
