As in, I try to add color on the "color" layer, but it still has some type of mask over it that distorts the color even though all other layers (except "cleaned") are invisible.
The OP is quite outdated I'm afraid, and a quick glance around didn't reveal any such posts, though I'm sure there are some. I'm sorry, I must have missed it I'm sure.

For changing the color, the easiest way is to just change the hue/brightness/saturation of the existing colors.

But each color layer has a different "blending" effect. You just need to find the one(s) that look better.

Ummmm I can try but might be a week or more, on spring break school is shut down and all files are on those servers :/

BTW, can you make a second image with exactly the same pose but with the wireframe? (I will blend it with the rendered version)

Def can do that! I know I dont have alot of details in to it, would take LOTS of time to get every nut bolt ect. and then textures. So hopefully can be fixed a bit

Hmmm, maybe light grey then make that grey a bit darker along the nooks and dark edges?

Pretty sure that a darker shade of white is called "gray" or "grey," Khan.

Also, that one color has two correct spellings bothers the hell out of me.

I generally have preferred the british spelling, Grey, over the american of Gray. (it's used both ways in both countries, but is more prominently used thusly) but it is silly. Then again the adding of a U to colour, etc vs the American (I must presume lazier) color, etc.....

somebody had asked about doing Alex Carlyle's 2nd Royal Guards Archer.

Took a few liberties (because I notice some of the other artists did too, and TBH because the base paint scheme is UGLY)
So thought I'd post the base coats for feedback before moving on to decals, etc.

Thinking about doing the spats in white, too.

Alot of people didn't like the bow legged design and it did kinda make a little more sense to set them up close to the current timberwolf. Also no mech in game atm has offset legs like the Mk.II orginally had.
