Nice work Hayden. I don't like the first one, but I'm a cappie, so...

Nice one, maybe I'll once ask chancellor to help you out against Clans, buy some cheap mech and ask you to paint it.

Possibly, possibly, but I saw Matt N, looking at the thread itself. I would imagine all the DEVs have been looking in here, the art team i can see scouting for any additional ideas of what people like and do not like so far. Which repaints get more attention then the others. :)

Love your post update on page 34 of this thread, Hayden. The partial repaint is an excellent idea. Nice metal paint touch too on one of 'em! :)

Portrait of a Champion

Given the importance, and reputation, of this hero from BattleTech lore, the legendary centurion ‘Mech was set in its proper setting: the Coliseum! The background ensemble was created via collage art, with added special effects such as fireworks, protective blast screens and projector flares. Also note special detail attention to the iconic Centurion model’s modifications, such as an AC20 instead of an AC10, left torso casing for AC shell ammo storage and custom titanium claws. Radioactive symbol added to return Hayden's nod. Enjoy!

Great work Ironhawk! I really like seeing 'Mechs that are unique to specific pilots.

Are you going to make another repaint, but with the recent remake of Dragon? :)

Alright, I'm going to move away from Davion forces and start to touch on a couple others. The 10 Davion centurions are here:
http://mwomercs.com/...dpost__p__95617

First off is my unit, the 3rd Amphigean LAG. I think I have one more in me tonight. (ED: Or not :) )
Posted Image

EDIT: First for today is a conjectural McCrimmon's Light Cavalry. Because I am unsure of their parade scheme I gave them a camo scheme I whipped up. This unit historically used Centurions. This unit was destroyed in the 4th Succession War and never rebuilt.
Posted Image

Another Capellan Unit. Capellan Reserves. Can't remember if they survived the 4th Succession War. This one has been modified with a flamer.
Posted Image

Request 1 of 2. Another one will go up later tonight, if all goes well.
Posted Image

Request 2 of 2. I might do a couple more, since folks seem to like these.
Posted Image

3 of 2. Don't mind me. Nothing to see here.
Posted Image

4 of 2. Nothing to see here...
Posted Image

5 of 2. Just ignore this.
Posted Image

6 of 2. Glad that non-existant work is done with. Good luck to Blackburn's Raiders!
Posted Image

I'll do the Catapult, Jenner, and Dragon in this scheme as well. Just not tonight :P

More to come! Thanks for watching!

Indeed, it'd be nice to see the AC5 toting Dragon.

...as opposed to the Lyran knock-off with a Heavy Gauss Rifle and two Large Lasers. Which is also awesome looking.

Your unit was meant to use Dragons, not Centurions. Your work is nice, but the result is not. :)

Not sure what you mean by that. While Davions control the plant that makes these there was another plant in the FWL that was later destroyed (per the old 3025 TRO) and the Draconis Combine and Capellans are both cited as using it in the modern 3039 TRO (though this does stipulate that many are captured and in poor repair). So, while you are right that the Dragon would be a 'mech of choice for a DCMS merc unit, it's not impossible that the odd Centurion would appear in its ranks, given how common it is in enemy forces.

You didn't make much noise when I made the 10th Deneb dragon :)

I meant the fact that it looks pretty bad in your colors. Nothing with lore. :)

Wow, Adridos! Got a bigger mallet you could use to insult Hayden with?! :notcool: Mercenaries are not restricted by the 'Mechs that are available to them.

Hayden, I for one think these look absolutely awesome, I love how the colors have made their way onto your 'Mechs, and am glad you're still in the color game, with all you have to do.

Layhenne, Ironhawk, and everyone here, I still can't believe the talented work I'm seeing, here. Kudos to all.
