I thought to myself hey i have some ideas for the new game and what i thought worked for the old games so im making a list for the devs im sure they dont want to hear it again but anyone can put there (constructive) Ideas on this thread condensed of course in lists.

#1Massive social chat and friends list
This was the singlemost thing that made the old PC mechwarriors on the MSN Gamming great without
it any game is only a game.

#2 Great gameplay and versatility
I put this next becouse emursion and hooking the newplayer into the battletech world breeds longevity and profits.

#3 Super Graphics,Sound,and animations
I cant tell you how many times i bought a game or downloaded one only to find the graphichs, sounds and animation horrid to a point of uninstall.

#4 Ease of installation and updates
WOW what a gamebreaker this one is to many times overlooked game companys make installing there game software like a Monkey Fing a football easy way to never get new players.

#5 Character Creation and enviroments
This is a newplayer hook once a newplayer or even old players make a character its usually all over the player will strive to get his creation to the top of the skill list, win list, ect.I cant tell you how many times this has hooked me on games i might not have played very long(World Of Warcraft).

#6 Nice World or map enviroments, and animations
I have always liked games that made me look around my enviroments when playing and made me be aware or the dangers of instant death,(Fallout3)comes to mind as i climbed a cliff rounded a building and boom OW crappola there is my enemy.Instant hype and thrill as i scranble to overcome my mistake of jumping out in the open ,ect which ussually led to my death.

#7 Massive league involvment
With out leagues, competition games become boring real fast leagues promote goals which promote teamwork commitment and longevity or the game itself plus you meet some interesting people.

#8 Persistant world economics
I didnt know what this ment till i played Age of empires, civilization ,economy building games and found myself lost in hours of gameplay

#9 Balanced Game Play
What i mean by this is a total balance for all players in there game enviroment as far as skills, mechs, weapons, rules, ect

#10 Anti Hacking
So many geat games had lack of forsight on hacking one of my favorite games (Medal Of Honor) fell victum to hacking what was a great battle game soon became severs full of hopping shooting hackers that no one coud kill which lead to it demise on the internet as a viable online multiplayer game.

P.S i hope this helps the devs from my point of view be sure to put some of your own IDEA lists on this thread im sure all the fans will have many many more. :P

I would add in:

1) Clean and efficient backend system to allow for quick restoration or problem solving incase of critical bugs or hacks (rolling back data or just specific tables, data tracking)

2) System for quick account restoration service that Customer Support can provide.

This is not directly for the players, but having a good system in place to help the publisher and customer service representatives deal with player concerns will greatly improve the gaming experience for most of us.

I would add:

Persistent team of people working against any hackers including a legal team to form lawsuits against any groups who may create and distribute hacks so this doesn't become like combat Arms.
